I think that was the best Thanksgiving I've ever had.

I was suffering from bad eating and sleeping habits a few weeks before, and going home has completely gotten me back on track.

My weekend was full of friends, love, homework, good food, family time and reminiscing.

Cale (my boyfriend) stayed up for two days, we watched movies and went to Christmas Candylane at Hershey and Christmas shopping. It was all really fun, and I enjoyed having him here <3.

I also got to spend a lot of time with my family, and I missed them. I so do not want to go back to school. I helped make Thanksgiving dinner, and it was one of the best I can remember.

I've got to go back to Kutztown in about an hour or so... not really excited about that :P

But only two weeks until Christmas break. If anyone out there wants to do something, leave a comment :D I can't wait to see everyone again!

Marching band season is OVER for the year!!!

Part of me is depressed about that.

And part of me says HECK YEAH!!! :D

That means FREE TIME on weekends. And being HOME. And I am CERTAINLY happy about that. :)

Anyway, it's always nice to be home. Here are some other updates.

- I'm dating a very sweet guy now, we've been dating for about a week. It's going well so far. :) And no, he's not the band!!!

- My art projects/homework are just as overwhelming as ever, but its nothing I can't handle.

- I saw the CV marching band last Friday for the first time, and it was AWESOME to see their awesome show and hang out with my guard girls again. You guys are so great, awesome job!!! :D

- Now that marching band season is over I'm looking for a job both on and off campus. Wish me luck ;)

- I still love KU, and I feel absolutely at home there. :) I think I definitely made the right college choice.

Anyway, I hope everyone's doing good, and I can't wait for Thanksgiving break so I can see all my friends at home again :)

Guess what time it is, kids?

Time for my tri-weekly update!

So much has happened since collegiate. Maybe I should split them into categories, and pull a 'Bethany' and put lots of random thoughts down:

- College is going REALLY well, my grades are good and my artwork is getting stronger every day as well, and I'm starting to sketch in my sketchbooks again, which is DEFINITELY a good thing considering I haven't done so in a good couple of months.

- I have declared my minor, Anthropology. It mixes strangely with my major, Communication Design, which is in itself a lot of work, but I think I can handle both of them. I'm excited to start taking interesting courses for my minor :3

- My boyfriend and I split up last Sunday. We both agreed we weren't happy in the relationship and we didn't feel the same way we did when it first started. It was a mutual breakup and we're still good friends. I couldn't of asked for it to end a better way. :)

- The Kutztown University Marching Unit had our last football game performance on the 21st, it was our homecoming game and it was SO fun. It both makes me happy and saddens me that the season is over, but I'm hoping to try out for Winter Guard this year :)

- Art club is hella fun.... period.

- I am so happy and content right now... I feel like I'm living in Nirvana. And my Mom is making roasted potatoes... which just makes me all the more happier.

- My friends are sleeping over tonight and we are gonna have SO much fun.

Life is good... and I want to share it with everyone. <3

This place seems so alien to me....

It's been THREE weeks now, since I've been home.

College is still the best experience of my life thus far. I love it so much, and I wouldn't trade places with anyone in the world.

My boyfriend Matt and I are still going strong, after a full month of dating. We're learning a lot from each other (I've experienced so many new things being with him), and he makes me really happy. I hope I make him as happy as he makes me. :3

Band is going good too, today was our Collegiate Festival, and it was really fun! We got to see a lot of other college marching bands and some of them were freakin' awesome. I'm also proud of the way I've improved in the show, I really feel up to par to the other girls. Which is definitely an achievement since they all have 3 to 4 more years more experience than me!

I went to a really cool Tool concert with Orry and his girlfriend, Sara, his cousin and his girlfriend last Monday, and that was REALLY cool. I'm a Tool fan now! ;)

I was in NYC all day Thursday, studying art and shopping at Soho. That was friggin awesome too!!!

There's so much in my life now I don't really feel like going into detail. Let's just say I have my rough times, my lonely times, and my oh-my-gawd-i'm-so-friggin-hyper times. And they all suit me just fine :D

I hope everyone here is doing well too! Tomorrow I hope to either go to King of Prussia or to a movie. Hopefully :)

Even if I just get a few hours at home, I'm happy to have them. It's been nice being with my family and sleeping in my own bed and being with my cat! :) He missed me A LOT :P
